Membership

Whether or not you play polo, “The Berkshire” offer memberships that are bound to suit your needs.

For players, we offer polo from grass roots to high goal level – culminating in The Prince of Wales Trophy (17-22 goals). Three types of memberships are available to those of you who wish to play during the summer season, with subscriptions reflecting the levels involved:

• Chukka
• Intermediate
• Full Playing

The Club also offers a non-playing social membership, details of which can be found here. For playing and non-playing members, the social season begins with our Members Cocktail Party, followed by a succession of exclusive events both at the Club and exclusive London venues. Live music, discos, themed parties, tennis tournaments, informal barbecues and lavish four course lunches are the order of the day. Members can also take advantage of our exclusive hamper service, ordering a sumptuous hamper of food and wine to be delivered to you as you enjoy this most traditional of sports.

All of our members are entitled to:

• Annual player’s badges, car stickers and programme of events (social and polo)
• Use of the clubhouse, tennis courts and croquet lawn
• Attendance at all polo, with guests, at the Club
• Attendance at all social events with guests (normally two, however with prior approval this number may be increased)
• Members’ rates for all hospitality, venue fees, and at the clubhouse bar
